Rent is paid monthly in advance unless expressly agreed otherwise by standing order directly into the landlords account. If this is being paid from a Student Loan it can be paid quarterly.
The date for rent payments will be the same as the date that your contract started and this should be received in the landlords account by that date.
Rent arrears can be regarded as a serious breach of the terms of the agreement and can result in arrears charges.
